Ways not to make me think you’re adult fan friendly…and yes, they do have a “0″ option on the next page, but still. I’m considering them still, but seriously?

The New Job and the Disney Vacation…
January 13th, 2012 · 1 Comment
If you are looking at an awesome new job offer, can you still go on your magical vacation?
I’ve done it successfully three times. I bring it up during the negations once the offer is on the table. I just state the facts, and I flat out state that I am willing to take it unpaid. I have had to take vacations unpaid, but I have been able to take them. Ask a Manager has some good tips (and if you are job hunting, you need to be reading her).

Welcome to those of you joining me from A Disney Mom’s Thoughts and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the 2nd stop on our Magical Blogorail. This month’s topic is Halloween, which is my favorite holiday. As such, I was a little unsure as about what to write. Then, I remembered what one [...]

WDW Not Just for Kids Review: The Fountain
October 8th, 2011 · 2 Comments
The Fountain is a, well, soda fountain at the Dolphin Hotel. After going to Fantasia Gardens, we needed to grab a cab back to AKL. However, owing to our last-minute change of plans, we had not gone to Goofy’s Candy Co as planned. We had skipped dessert at Whispering Canyon because of this plan, so [...]

WDW Not Just for Kids Review: Fantasia Gardens
September 26th, 2011 · 1 Comment
One thing that some people might not know is that Disney World has not one-but two mini golf courses: Fantasia Gardens, by Epcot, and Winterland Summerland, by Blizzard Beach. Personally, I’ve not seen the point in spending extra money on a WDW vacation on something that a) is not included in what I have already [...]

Given that this was my first Wordless Wednesday on this blog, I figured it was apres pos. Also, if you say you need a cup rather than a cute glass as you’re shopping, you get more. :)

Legoland Florida-I think it looks meh for adults…
May 25th, 2011 · 1 Comment
How ’bout you? Legoland Florida will be opening on October 15 where Cypress Gardens used to be in Winterland, FL. I was kind of curious to see it, as I had seen people citing Knight’s Tournament in Legoland California pre-Wizarding World of Harry Potter. However, it looks pretty meh. To be honest, I’m not a [...]

Mydisneydiscovery.com-does WDW get it?
April 11th, 2011 · 4 Comments
While poking around Da** You Autocorrect last night (NSFW or little eyes, but utterly hysterical), I noticed a Disney banner ad. As it was for a url I did not recognize, Mydisneydiscovery.com, and stated that a Disney vacation was for adults, I had to check it out. Now, before I even start discussing the ad [...]

Friday Favorites: The Kingdom Keepers Series
April 1st, 2011 · 2 Comments
I read the first The Kingdom Keepers book back in 2006. I liked it, but I kind of filed it in the back of my mind. The books are about teens who are holographic hosts at Disney parks, and they battle Disney villains. Then in 2009, following Lou’s interview of Ridley Pearson, I got my [...]
