WDW Not Just or Kids Review: Whispering Canyon Cafe
August 29th, 2011 · No Comments
As you know, on my last trip I ate at Whispering Canyon Cafe. As I am a vegetarian, I was unsure what options would be available. The sauteed quinoa cakes from lunch are on the dinner menu. I love quinoa and edamame, but I was not a fan of this dish. My fries were good, [...]

Welcome to those of you joining me from A Disney Mom’s Thoughts and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the final stop on our Magical Blogorail. What the chew toy (literally!)
August 16th, 2011 · 4 Comments
Back from Disney, had a great time. However, I adopted two kittens prior to leaving, and I was hoping to get them something. They have tags, but no other pet items throughout Disney World. I will be contacting the Walt Disney company regarding this, is anyone else annoyed?

August Update!
July 7th, 2011 · 3 Comments
So, remember how I’ve been changing my August trip from AKL to POP? Shortly before I went away, I was able to confirm my dates. It did not look like there were any discounts for my dates, but I figured I’d deal with it once I got home. I did check out a DVC point [...]

May 16th, 2011 · 1 Comment
In December (man, I might want to actually re-start my trip report, huh), I had planned on checking out Fresh-a-Peel, the “healthy option” section of Pollo Campero in Downtown Disney. These restaurants are located in the old McDonald’s area, and I was impressed by how un-McDonaldsy the place looked. I was very excited to see [...]

Mydisneydiscovery.com-does WDW get it?
April 11th, 2011 · 4 Comments
While poking around Da** You Autocorrect last night (NSFW or little eyes, but utterly hysterical), I noticed a Disney banner ad. As it was for a url I did not recognize, Mydisneydiscovery.com, and stated that a Disney vacation was for adults, I had to check it out. Now, before I even start discussing the ad [...]

Basic WDW info: Is the Disney Dining Plan Worth it?
March 5th, 2011 · 10 Comments
Is the Disney Dining Plan worth it? What if you’re a vegetarian? I started my lifestyle of adult trips in 2005, and was intrigued by the Disney Dining Plan (DDP). I really liked the concept of already paying for my meals ahead of time. However, I ended up using an AAA room discount, and as [...]

Is Las Vegas the Adult Disneyland?
February 1st, 2011 · No Comments
“Oh, I know you’re going to say the trees are paper-maiche, it’s done with mirrors the magic there. Each little bird’s full of springs, you push a button it sings. Recorded music fills the air. They’ve had the mountain refaced, it’s only plywood and paste.” “Disneyland” from Smile by Howard Ashman As those of you [...]
