I forget when I first heard about Photobooks by Mixbook , but I was interested. I’m not a scrapbooker at all. I love taking photos for memories, but beyond Picasa-ing them up for Wordless Wednesdays or using them as a screensaver, I don’t do much with them.
I met with Mixbook at a blogging conference and they generously gave me a code for their Photobooks by Mixbook. I have to say, I was really impressed by their site. Registration was easy. I chose to go with their ready made tropical design. It had sayings about travel, and a color scheme that really worked with my photos (I was using pictures from my August 2011 trip). I used pictures on my hard drive, but you could also import pictures from sites like Picasa, Facebook, and Flickr. I think this feature could be really cool if you were going to make a book from something like Reunion. Once I imported my pictures, I could use their layout tools to import photos.
Adding photos and theming them was really easy. There were some slight editing tools on the site (same photo of the castle in black and white, color and sepia? check). Removing stuff I did not want, and adding things I did (there were stickers, embellishments and quotes! You know how I love quotes!) was painless.
When I recieved my Mixbook, I was really impressed with their high quality! It was on nice paper, and well bound. I would definitely order from them again.

I have learned that scrapbooking is the best way for me to relive my Disney memories. I will be sailing on the Disney Magic in July, with a day in WDW, this would be a perfect way to relive that day. I will be sailing with my youngest sister, we have not been to WDW since 2005, we need the trip, we would love the book!

Oh heck, everyone would love to win this, but for me it may, just MAY get me into scrapping again. My son is going to be 9 in april and I stopped scrapping when he was 4 months old.
