Newt Scamander coming to the big screen….

In case you missed it (some of us who write this blog were in school all day), yesterday Warner Brothers* announced that they have partnered with J. K Rowling that they will be bringing the story of Newt Scamander to the big screen.  Scamander, if you didn’t know, was the author of the popular Hogwarts’ textbook Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.  The upcoming movie will have Newt Scamander starting in New York in 1918 and travelling the world to see afore mentioned fantastic beasts.

I’m excited for this movie-Scamander’s grandson Rolf married Luna Lovegood, whom I love.  You?  Check out my  TwitterGoogle Plus,  FacebookRSS Feed, or  newsletter!

*Anyone else remember when the Disney conspiracy theorists thought that WDW would be getting the HP stuff owing to their relationship with Warner Bros?  And anyone else miss the Warner Bros Studio Store?
