This week, the CinemaCon was held in Las Vegas. While I was happy about the announcement of the second Muppet movie (secondary of the reboot), I was most excited about Pixar’s announcements. I am wicked excited for Brave (redheaded princess, hello!)
However, the piece I am most excited about is the Día De Los Muertos: Lee Unkrich of Toy Story 3 is directing,. Día De Los Muertos, for those of you who do not know, is a holiday on November 2 in Mexico which honors the dead. When I studied abroad in college, I lived in Oaxaca, which is pretty much ground zero for the holiday. Imagne walking to school with these shrines everywhere. It’s amazing, and given that we are talking about the people who have had me bawling in the theatre many times, I cannot wait.
