Magical Blogorail Green: What we are thankful at a Disney Resort

Welcome to those of you joining me from A Disney Mom’s Thoughts and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the 2ndon our Magical Blogorail.”

Although there are many things for which I am thankful at Disney Resorts, this year of 2012, I am most thankful for The Art of Animation resort.

I am excited about the Art of Animation resort for a number of reasons.  I love Disney animation.  I am very glad Pop Centupry no longer has the eyesore of Walt Disney Roanoke.

But on a larger level, I feel that Art of Animation does what Disney does well.  Nostalgia?  Can I tell you how many times the story of us going to see The Little Mermaid when I was five when we discuss this trip.  Themeing?  The flipping tub (the tub!!) is themed like Ariel’s lair.

The food there? Tip top counter service.  And as much as I may deservedly snark on Disney’s lack of technical prowess, the RFID chips and check in are cool.
