In the past couple of days, a few exciting things have happened regarding my cruise in December. First of all, Dreams Unlimited has released podcast cruise-exclusive rates at the Swan and Dolphin for the eye popping rate of $99 a night. As such, I booked at the Swan via their site. I sincerely hope I like it better than the Dolphin, if not it was a great rate. Once I get the confirmation, I’ll cancel my other hotel reservation (I’m saving $180 through them). I’m planning on taking their coach from the Swan to port. However, the extra money I now have floating around is leading me to ponder some options.
*Being a Swan guest, I can’t use DME, and Mears is a pain late at night. I have a rental car booked the last day of my cruise, I’m planning on packing up and heading to DTD for the day, leaving my luggage in the car (I may also see if I can find anyone to share my rental car with me). Getting from the airport to the Swan will probably be a cab, UNLESS I go wit the idea of taking a towncar. A towncar would be nice, and I would like to see if I could find one willing to do a late-night grocery stop. I might see if I could take a towncar from Port to DTD, having checked my larger luggage on ship, but I’m not sure.
*I also ordered a Disney Visa rewards card to buy my MVMCP ticket.
*I am kind of certain I’m not booking any ADR’s. I know, right? I’m planning on having Breakfast at Captain Cook’s on Friday, then I think I’ll grab a linner at Beaches and Cream or the Fountain. I’ll eat junk food for dinner. Saturday I’m spending the day at Epcot. I’ve debated the possibility of a Garden Grill or Asherkus character breakfast, although I’ve heard characters are plenty on the ship. Dinner will most like;y be with podcast people
