Magic Blogorail Green: Best Character Interaction Ever

This entry is part 16 of 24 in the series MagBlogorail

blogorail logo (green) Welcome to those of you joining me from A Disney Mom’s Thoughts and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the Final stop on our Magical Blogorail.  Today’s topic is Best Character Interaction Ever.  You’ve read about my interaction with Ariel at MNSSHP in 2009.  So today, I’m going to be talking about our experience at Goofy’s Kitchen at Disney Land at the Disneyland Hotel in 2005.

Our trip to DLR in August of 2005 was basically “the past 18 months have stunk, we’re going to Disneyland” trip.  My mother and I had lost my grandmother, my dad, our cat of 15 years, I’d had to leave school thanks to mono, and was thus knee deep in trying to graduate on time-ish.*  Anyway, right, Goofy’s Kitchen.  I’m a character addict as you know, and was stoked to meet Max.  I chatted with Alice about kittens.  And then Goofy came out.  He was awesome-he drew a Goofy on our paper table cloth that’s still on our fridge at home.  He flirted with my mother.  It was just us…and we were all right.

Thank you for joining Magical Blogorail Green this month. We will be back Friday, March 22nd with an all new theme. Keep checking in with our blogs in between loops to keep up to date with our Disney info, photos and stories. If you are looking for more Disney magic, you can make your way over to The Magical Blogorail website to see all our members and their blogs, as well as all our previous loops.

Character interactions are my favorite part of our Disney World trips year after year. Your story was so touching. My family and I have made many memories that will last a lifetime thanks to the live interactions with our favorite storybook characters. One summer my younger brother befriended Drizella in her search for a Prince as he agreed that he would marry her because he was rich. Year after year she still remembers him by name and even goes out of her way to recognize him as “her future husband” during the 3 o’clock parade. It is experiences like this that keep us coming back year after year.
